Latin American Cookies
|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Light molasses||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Double strength cold coffee||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Semi-sweet chocolate morsels||24 Ounce|
1)In a bowl, beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2)In another bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
3)Mix the two mixtures alternately with combined molasses and coffee. Blend well after each addition.
4)Add chocolate morsels and mix well.
5)Take a greased baking sheet and drop spoonsful on it.
6)Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
7)Serve the Latin American cookies when desired.
