|Tomato meat sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Salt||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Lasagna noodles||1 Pound|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Olive oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Mozzarella cheese||3⁄4 Pound, sliced|
|Eggs||2 , hard cooked|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ricotta cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Prepare sauce, allowing 4 1/2 hours for cooking.
When sauce is partially done, heat the water, salt, and olive oil in a large saucepot.
When boiling, gradually add the noodles and bring rapidly to boiling; cook about 15 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
Test tenderness by pressing a piece against side of pot with fork.
Drain through a colander.
Brown the beef in heated olive oil in a large skillet, breaking meat apart with a fork.
Pour about 1/2 cup Tomato Meat Sauce into an 8x8x2-inch baking dish.
Top with one third of the noodles and half of the mozzarella cheese.
Add half of the meat and 1 sliced egg.
Sprinkle with half of the Parmesan cheese and pepper.
Top with half of the ricotta cheese.
Beginning with the sauce, repeat the layering, ending with ricotta cheese.
Top with 1/2 cup sauce.
Arrange remaining noodles over the dish and top with more sauce.
Set in a 350°F oven about 30 minutes, or until mixture is bubbling.
Remove from oven and let stand 5 to 10 minutes to set the layers.
