|Canned italian tomatoes||1 Pound|

|Mixed italian herbs||1 Teaspoon|
|Pot cheese||8 Ounce|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Mozzarella cheese||8 Ounce, cut into 0.5 inch strips|
Cook noodles, following label directions; drain; return to same kettle; toss with salad oil or olive oil to keep from sticking.
While noodles cook, dice sausage patties; brown with no fat, stirring often, in medium size frying pan; stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion and herbs; heat to boiling; simmer, stirring often, 5 minutes.
Layer half the noodles, pot cheese, Parmesan cheese, tomato mixture and mozzarella cheese in 6 cup shallow baking dish; repeat, place mozzerella cheese on top.
Bake in moderate oven (350Â°) 30 minutes, or until bubbling at edges and cheese is lightly browned; remove from oven; let stand 5 to 10 minutes to set.
Note For a party, double the recipe and bake in 12 cup shallow baking dish at 350Â° until bubbly hot.
