|Ground beef||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Spaghetti sauce mix||15 Ounce|
|Tomato sauce||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Mushroom pieces||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cottage cheese||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Mozzarella cheese slices||8 Ounce|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Place noodles in 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
Cover with water.
Sprinkle with salt.
Microwave on High, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Let noodles stand in cooking water while preparing meat sauce.
Crumble ground beef in 3-quart glass casse- role.
Add onion and green pepper.
Microwave on High for 5 minutes, uncovered; stir well.
Microwave for 3 minutes longer; drain off juices.
Stir in spa- ghetti sauce mix, tomato sauce and mushrooms.
Arrange layers of 1/3 of the noodles, 1/3 of the beef mixture, 1/2 of the cottage cheese and 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese in 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
Repeat layers ending with noodles and ground beef mixture.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Cover loosely with waxed paper.
Microwave on High for 8 minutes; turn dish.
Microwave on High for 7 minutes longer.
Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes before serving.
