Helen's Lasagna

Ingredients
  Beef 1 Pound, ground
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Canned tomato sauce 29 Ounce (1 Can)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Canned tomato paste 6 Ounce (1 Can)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Dried oregano 1 Teaspoon
  Lasagna noodles 8 Ounce, uncooked (1 Package)
  Mozzarella cheese 16 Ounce, shredded (4 Cups)
  Curd cottage cheese 12 Ounce (1 1/2 Cups)
  Parmesan cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), grated
Directions

MAKING
1) In a saucepan cook beef, onion, and garlic until browned. Drain and keep aside.
2) Add tomato sauce, water, tomato paste, salt, and oregano. Mix thoroughly.
3) Pour one-fourth of meat sauce in ungreased slow cooker and spread evenly.
4) Layer one third of noodles over sauce.
5) Mix the cheeses.
6) Spoon one-third of cheese mixture over noodles.
7) Repeat making the same layer twice.
8) Spread remaining meat sauce on top.
9) Cook covered on Low for 4-5 hours.

SERVING
10) Serve hot.
