Ingredients
  Italian sausage 1 Pound, casings removed
  Canned tomatoes 16 Ounce, cut up (1 Can)
  Tomato paste 6 Ounce (1 Can)
  Crushed dried basil 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Garlic salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Ricotta cheese/Cottage cheese 16 Ounce
  Grated parmesan cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , slightly beaten
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Cooked lasagna noodles 8 Ounce (1 Package)
  Mozzarella cheese 8 Ounce, sliced
Directions

GETTING READY
1. In a 4-quart casserole, break up sausages and cook on High for 3 minutes; stir once.
2. Drain excess fat after cooking.
3. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, basil and garlic salt.
4. Cook on High for 10 minutes; stir twice.
5. In a mixing bowl, stir together ricotta or cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt and pepper.

MAKING
6. In a 7-1/2" x 12" utility dish, first pour a little meat sauce.
7. Lay half of the cooked noodles over sauce, then half of ricotta or cottage-cheese mixture, half of mozzarella cheese and the remaining half meat sauce.
8. Repeat layering mixtures.
9. Cover dish with plastic wrap.
10. Cook on High for 4 minutes.
11. Turn dish.
12. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes until hot.
13. Let stand 10 minutes.

SERVING
14. Serve hot.
