Lasagna With Ground Meat

Ingredients
  Lasagna noodles 8 Ounce
  Water 8 Cup (128 tbs)
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Salad oil 1 Tablespoon
  Softened butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Sliced onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sliced mushrooms 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Chopped garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Tomato sauce 8 Ounce (1 Can)
  Tomato paste 6 Ounce (1 Can)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Basil 1 Teaspoon
  Cottage cheese 1 Pound
  Mozzarella cheese slices 8 Ounce
  Grated parmesan cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Boil water and keep aside.
2. In a casserole, arrange lasagna noodles, pour boiling salted water and cook for 16 minutes.
3. Cover and cook for 10 more minutes.
4. Drain excessive water, add salad oil and keep aside.

MAKING
5. Take a casserole, melt butter for 30 seconds, sauté onions for about 3 minutes, add water and mushroom and cook for 3 more minutes.
6. In another casserole, cook garlic with ground beef for about 6minutes, stirring once in 2 minutes.
7. Add the mushroom-onion mixture, tomato paste, tomato sauce, pepper, basil, sugar and salt and stir well.
8. Cover and cook, stirring, for about 10 minutes.

SERVING
9. Serve hot.
