Ingredients
  Italian sausage/Bulk pork sausage /ground beef 1 Pound
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Basil 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Canned tomatoes 1 Pound (2 cups, 1 can)
  Canned tomato paste 12 Ounce (2 cans, 6-ounce each, 1 1/2 cups)
  Lasagna noodles 10 Ounce (1 package)
  Large curd cream style cottage cheese 24 Ounce (2 cartons. 12-ounce each, 3 cups)
  Beaten eggs 2
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Grated parmesan cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Mozzarella cheese 1 Pound, sliced thin
Directions

Brown meat slowly; spoon off excess fat.
Add next 6 ingredients to meat.
Simmer, uncovered, till thick, 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Cook noodles in boiling salted water till tender; drain; rinse in cold water.
Combine cottage cheese with next 5 ingredients.
Place half the noodles in 13x9x2-inch baking dish; spread half the cottage-cheese mixture over; add half the Mozzarella cheese and half the meat mixture.
Repeat layers.
Bake in moderate oven (375°) 30 minutes.
Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before cutting in squares.
