New Style Lasagna
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Lasagna noodles||8 (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Basic spaghetti sauce||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs), thawed|
|Cottage cheese/Ricotta||1 Pound|
|Swiss cheese slices||8 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Brown ground beef and season with salt and pepper.
Line bottom of a greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch casserole with uncooked lasagna noodles.
Spread with 1 cup Basic Spaghetti Sauce.
Add a layer of ground beef, a layer of cottage cheese, and a layer of Swiss cheese slices.
Continue process until pan is full.
End with sauce.
Cover tightly and bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on number of layers.
Top with Parmesan cheese while hot.
