Classic Lasagne

Ingredients
  Italian sausage 1 Pound
  Canned tomatoes 16 Ounce, cut up (1 Can)
  Tomato paste 12 Ounce (2 Cans, 6 Ounces Each)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Dried basil 1 Tablespoon, crushed
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Lasagne noodles 10 Ounce
  Beaten eggs 2
  Ricotta cheese/Cream style cottage cheese 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Grated romano cheese/Grated parmesan cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dried parsley flakes 2 Tablespoon
  Sliced mozzarella cheese 16 Ounce (1 Package)
Directions

Brown sausage; drain.
Add undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, water, basil, garlic, and 1 1/2 teaspoons salt.
Simmer, covered, 15 minutes; stir occasionally.
Cook noodles; drain.
Combine eggs, ricotta, Romano, parsley, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
In 13x9x 2-inch baking pan layer half each of the noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and meat mixture.
Repeat layers.
Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes.
