Easy Lasagna With Mushroom
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 , peeled and finely chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), peeled and crushed|
|Lean ground beef||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Canned peeled tomatoes||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Chopped mushrooms||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Beef bouillon cube||1|
|Dried oregano||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Tomato paste||2 Tablespoon|
|Quick cooking lasagna sheets||12|
|Toasted crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1 Tablespoon|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Made mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Grated mozzarella cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1 Preheat a browning skillet with its lid on: 3 minutes on full power for the small size: 5 minutes on full power for the large size. If a skillet is not available use a large mixing bowl, but do not preheat.
2 Place the oil in the skillet or bowl. Microwave on full power for 30 seconds.
3 Add the onion, garlic and meat, and stir well. Microwave on full power for 2 minutes.
4 Stir in the tomatoes, mushrooms, stock (bouillon) cube, oregano and tomato puree (paste). Season well.
5 Put on the lid or cover with plastic wrap, and pierce. Microwave on power 7 for 20 minutes. Leave to stand.
To make the sauce:
1 Place the butter in a 2 litre/3 1/2 pint (9 cup) jug or mixing bowl, and microwave on full power for 1 1/2 minutes.
2 Stir in the flour and half the milk to form a roux. Gradually stir in the remainder of the milk, mustard, and salt and pepper. At this stage the sauce will appear very lumpy.
3 Microwave on full power for 5 minutes. Beat well. Microwave on full power for 3 minutes. Beat in the cheese.
To assemble the dish:
1 Grease a 30 x 20 x 5cm/12x8x2 inch ovenproof glass dish with some melted butter. Cover the base with a littlfe cheese sauce.
2 Arrange three sheets of lasagne over the cheese, cover with a layer of meat and then a layer of cheese sauce.
3 Continue layering in this way until all the ingredients have been used. Finish with a layer of cheese sauce.
4 Sprinkle the top with a few toasted crumbs and a little Parmesan cheese.
5 Cover with plastic wrap, and pierce. Microwave on power 8 for 25 minutes.
