Slow Cooker Lasagna

Slow Cooker Lasagna is a deliciously simple way to make the classic Italian baked pasta dish. Layers of tomato sauce, a cheese and spinach mixture and pasta sheets are stacked in the crock pot then left to cook. Topped with cheese, this brilliantly simple version is endlessly adaptable and guaranteed to become your new favourite recipe - give it a go!

Ingredients

Tomato pasta sauce 1000 Gram ((2 x 500g Jars))
Ricotta cheese 1000 Gram ((2 x 500g Packs))
Grated mozzarella cheese 2 Cup (32 tbs) ((plus extra Cheese (for topping)))
Grated parmesan cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Chopped spinach 250 Gram ((I used frozen!))
Vegetable soup mix 30 Gram
Lasagna pasta sheets 12 ((depending on size of pot))

Directions

MAKING:                        

In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, spinach, vegetable soup mix, pepper and stir well.

In a crockpot, combine and assemble pasta sauce, lasagna pasta sheets, cheese mixture as shown in the video.

Cover with lid and cook for 5-6 hours in low setting.

Sprinkle more cheese on top, cover with lid and allow to stand for 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
