Easy Roast Leg Of Lamb

Ingredients
  Lamb leg 6 Pound (1 Leg)
  Salt 3 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Instant minced onion 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Preheat oven to 325 °F.
Wipe lamb with damp cloth; do not remove fell.
Combine salt and pepper; rub all over meat.
Insert meat thermometer into fleshy part away from bone.
Place on rack in shallow roasting pan.
Roast, uncovered, 2 1/2 to 3 hours, until meat thermometer reads 175°F for medium lamb, 180°F for well-done.
Remove to heated platter, keep warm.
Make gravy.
Pour off drippings; reserve 2 tablespoons in roasting pan.
Stir in flour until smooth; gradually stir in 2 cups cold water.
Add bay leaf and onion; bring to boiling, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes.
