Lamb With Bean Sprouts
|Lean lamb||1 Pound|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Soy sauce||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Ground ginger||1 Pinch|
|Brown sugar||1 Teaspoon|
|Oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Bean sprouts||4 Ounce|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Cut the meat into thin slices; crush the garlic and add to the meat with the salt, soy sauce, ginger, sugar and oil.
Mix well and cook gently for 3 minutes.
Drain the bean sprouts, chop spring onions (scallions) and add to the pan, mix well and cook for 1 minute.
Mix the cornflour (cornstarch) to a smooth paste with the water, add to the pan and bring to the boil, stirring until slightly thickened.
