Party Perfect Lamb Loaf
|Canned chopped mushrooms||6 Ounce|
|Chopped onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Cooked ham||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Dry bread crumbs||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dry sherry||2 Tablespoon|
|Lean ground lamb||2 Pound|
Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid.
Saute onion in butter until tender in large skillet; add reserved mushroom liquid.
Simmer until liq- uid is reduced to 1 tablespoonful.
Remove from heat; add ham, crumbs, salt, pepper and sherry.
Di- vide lamb into three parts.
Alternate layers of lamb and mushroom mixture in 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan, ending with lamb.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Drain off drippings.
