Yorkshire Lamb Hot Pot
|Butter||3 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|White onions||12 Small|
|Sherry||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Minced parsley||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Brown chops in 11/2 tablespoons butter; add onions, potatoes, 4 cups water, salt and pepper.
Sim- mer, covered, for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Arrange chops, onions and potatoes on hot platter.
Blend flour and 2 tablespoons water.
Add to pan liquid, stirring constantly, over high heat until thickened.
Add remaining butter and sherry, stirring well.
Serve with lamb.
Sprinkle servings with parsley.
