Lamb Patties With Garlic Basil Butter

Ingredients
  Ground lamb 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Freshly ground pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Vegetable oil 3 Tablespoon
For garlic basil butter
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), softened
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced (Small Clove)
  Dried basil 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Garlic-Basil Butter: Blend all ingredients, mixing well.
Form into roll about 1-1/2 inches (3 cm) in diameter.
Wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate, if preparing ahead.
Mix together ground lamb, salt and pepper; form into 4 or 5 patties.
In skillet over medium heat, heat oil and cook patties until browned on both sides but still pink inside, 8 to 10 minutes on each side.
Serve each patty with slice of Garlic-Basil Butter.
