Lamb And Potato Stew

Ingredients
  Boneless lamb 2 Pound, cubed
  Potatoes 8 Large, peeled, diced
  Carrots 8 , scraped, sliced
  Green cabbage head 1⁄2 , cored, shredded
  Peppercorns 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1 Tablespoon
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Put meat and vegetables in layers in a large heavy saucepan.
Add peppercorns, salt, and flour.
Pour water over the top.
Cover and simmer for 2 to 3 hours.
