Chutney Grilled Lamb Chops
|Chutney||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped|
|Lemon juice||2 Teaspoon|
|Curry powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Ginger||1⁄8 Teaspoon, ground|
|Lamb chops/Lamb steaks||4|
Combine the first four ingredients and brush some on both sides of chops.
Broil 4-5 inches from heat for about 5 minutes.
Brush with more of the chutney mixture and continue broiling another 5 minutes.
Spread with more sauce, using about half in both brushings, and continue broiling until done.
Pass the remaining sauce.
Variation: Broil eggplant at the same time.
It makes a fine combination.
