Fruited Lamb Chops

Ingredients
  Canned peach slices in juice 16 Ounce (1 Can)
  Cornstarch 2 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Diet margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Lamb loin chops 8 , cut 3/4 inch thick
Directions

Drain peaches, reserving juice; halve peaches lengthwise.
Set peaches aside, Combine cornstarch and spices; blend in juice.
Cook and stir till thickened and bub- bly; stir in margarine, lemon juice, and soy sauce, Trim fat from chops; brush chops with some sauce.
Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat 9 to 10 minutes, turning and brushing with sauce once, Stir peaches into remain- ing sauce; heat through;
