Broiled Lamb Chops With Mustard Honey Glaze
|Dijon mustard||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced or pressed|
|Ground ginger||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Shoulder lamb chops||4 Large, cut about 3/4 inch thick (Round Bone Or Blade)|
In a small bowl, stir together mustard, honey, soy, garlic, and ginger.
Trim excess fat from chops; slash through remaining edge fat to, but not into, meat at 1-inch intervals.
Place chops on a rack in a broiler pan
Generously spread chops with about half the mustard mixture.
Broil about 3 inches below heat for 5 minutes; turn chops and spread with remaining mustard mixture.
Broil for about 5 more minutes or until chops are browned and meat near bone is still pink when slashed.
