Easy Homemade Caramel Corn

It's so fun and easy to make your own homemade caramel corn when you're at home watching a movie or some TV! Popcorn is coated in a brown sugar caramel mixture and it gets nice and crunchy when it cools.

Ingredients

Prepared popcorn 10 Cup (160 tbs)
Unsalted butter 8 Tablespoon (1 stick)
Dark brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs) (light brown is okay too)
Light corn syrup 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Sea salt 1 Teaspoon
Baking soda 1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat oven to 250 degree F.

MAKING

2. In a saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Turn the heat to medium, stir to dissolve and bring the mixture to a boil. Continue to cook for 5 minutes or until deep golden brown.

3. Add baking soda and stir well.

4. Into a large bowl, place the popcorn and drizzle the prepared caramel syrup on top. Stir to coat well.

5. Onto a sheet pan, transfer the coated popcorn and pop in oven for 15 minutes. Stir well.

6. On a parchment/ waxed paper/ silicon mat lined sheet pan, transfer the popcorn, spread out and let cool. Store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
