Bazaar Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Popped corn 8 Quart
Directions

Boil sugar, margarine, syrup and salt for 5 minutes, stirring constantly - do not overcook.
Add vanilla, stir in soda - stir.
Pour over popped corn and stir to coat well.
Put in large shallow pans at 250°F for about 1 hour - stir occasionally.
If you feel it is too hot - turn off oven and let sit.
