Caramel Corn

Ingredients
  Granulated sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Corn syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cream of tartar 1 Pinch
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Freshly popped popcorn 20 Cup (320 tbs) (about 1 cup / 250 ml popping corn)
Directions

In heavy saucepan, stir together granulated and brown sugars, butter, corn syrup and cream of tartar; bring to boil, stirring.
Boil for 5 minutes without stirring; remove from heat.
Stir in baking soda.
Place popcorn in roasting pan; pour sugar mixture over top and stir to coat well.
Bake in 200°F (100°C) oven for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes.
Let cool, stirring occasionally.
Store in airtight containers.
