Caramel tastes great in various recipes, whether it is sweet or savoury. The caramel snack mix is a very tasty dish. In this recipe you will caramelize your ingredients to make a nice snack dish. You can choose your own ingredients and make a caramel snack dish. Kids definitely will enjoy it.
Ingredients
  Popped popcorn 8 Cup (128 tbs)
  Rice cereal squares 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Miniature pretzel twist 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Pecan halves 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Light corn syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Preheat oven to 300 degree F.

MAKING
2.Mix popcorn, cereal, pretzels and pecans in a large baking pan.
3.Combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup in a saucepan.
4.Bring mixture to a boil and then turn down to medium-low and cook without stirring for 5 minutes.
5.Remove saucepan from heat and add vanilla and baking soda, stirring carefully.
6.Pour over popcorn mixture and stir to coat. Bake 30 minutes, stirring after 15 minutes.
7.Pour popcorn onto parchment paper and let it cool, breaking mixture into clusters as it cools.

SERVING
7.Serve in a large bowl and enjoy.
