|Raw peanuts||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Dark corn syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Place popcorn and peanuts, if desired, in a lightly greased roasting pan; set mixture aside.
Melt butter in a large saucepan; stir in sugar and corn syrup.
Bring to a boil; boil 5 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat; stir in soda, salt, and vanilla.
Pour sugar mixture over popcorn; stir well.
Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Cool; store in an airtight container.
