Candied Popcorn

Candied Popcorn is love by many around the world. Candied Popcorn gets its taste from peanuts mixed with popcorn and flavored by vanilla extracts. Candied Popcorn is loved by kids.
  Freshly popped popcorn 5 Quart
  Raw peanuts 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Dark corn syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon

Place popcorn and peanuts, if desired, in a lightly greased roasting pan; set mixture aside.
Melt butter in a large saucepan; stir in sugar and corn syrup.
Bring to a boil; boil 5 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat; stir in soda, salt, and vanilla.
Pour sugar mixture over popcorn; stir well.
Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Cool; store in an airtight container.
