Polish Sausage (Kielbasa) With Red Cabbage
|Red cabbage||2 Pound, shredded (1 Small Head)|
|Apple||1 Small, chopped|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cider vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dried onion flakes||1 Tablespoon|
|Caraway seeds||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Kielbasa sausage||2 Pound (1 Ring)|
In 12x8-inch dish, combine cabbage, apple, sugar, vinegar, onion, caraway and salt.
Cook, covered with plastic wrap, at HIGH 7 to 8 minutes; stir twice.
Meanwhile, make 1/4-inch slits every few inches in Kielbasa; arrange on red cabbage.
Cook, covered with plastic wrap, at HIGH 12 to 13 minutes, or until heated through.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
