|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Pastry flour||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (whole wheat)|
Mix together all ingredients, except butter, in a blender, food processor, or electric mixer.
Cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Melt butter in a 7-inch skillet over medium heat.
Add 2 to 3 tablespoons batter, and tip pan to distribute batter evenly.
Cook until browned on bottom and slightly dry on top.
Place on wax paper, cooked-side down.
Continue to cook until all the batter is used, replenishing butter as needed.
