One Quart Standard Gelatin Jelly
|Granulated gelatin||1 Ounce (2 Tablespoon)|
|Cold water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Boiling water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Other liquid/Fruit juice||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Lemon-Juice Requires More Sugar Than Orange Juice, And Orange-Juice More Than Coffee Or Cream)|
1.In a bowl, soak gelatin in cold water until soft.
2.Add to boiling water and stir over hot water until thoroughly dissolved.
3.The object of heating only part of the water is to hasten the cooling and solidifying of the gelatin mixture.
4.Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
5.Remove from heat.
6.Add remaining liquids or fruit pulp and mix thoroughly.
7.Pour into molds that have been dipped into cold water.
8.Serve with cream
