|Fresh strawberries||3 Quart|
|Sugar||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Powdered fruit pectin||1 3⁄4 Ounce|
Hull and crush strawberries; pour crushed berries into jelly bag over deep bowl.
Let juice drip through bag.
Juice should measure about 3 1/2 cups.
Pour strawberry juice into kettle; bring to a rolling boil.
Cook, stirring, until mixture returns to a fast boil.
Add pectin; boil for exactly 60 seconds.
Remove kettle from heat.
Skim off foam quickly; pour jelly to within 1/2-inch of top of sterilized glasses.
Seal while hot.
Jelly may be tinted with red food coloring if desired
