Jelly is a favorite with almost all kids. Now you can give you kids a tasty yummy jelly treat. This fig jelly lets you master the nuances of making jelly at home. With some experimenting you would be able to make jelly that suits your specific palate. Get started and do let me know how it turned out for you
Ingredients
  Half ripe figs 3 Pound
  Sugar 3 Pound
  Lemons 2 Large, sliced
Directions

Wash figs; remove stems.
Bring sugar and 2 cups water to a boil in large kettle; stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add figs and lemons; bring to a rolling boil for 30 minutes.
Remove from heat; strain mixture through jelly bag.
Return liquid to kettle; bring to a rolling boil.
Boil for 5 minutes or until jelly sheets from spoon.
Skim.
Pour into hot sterilized jars; seal with paraffin.
