|Half ripe figs||3 Pound|
|Lemons||2 Large, sliced|
Wash figs; remove stems.
Bring sugar and 2 cups water to a boil in large kettle; stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add figs and lemons; bring to a rolling boil for 30 minutes.
Remove from heat; strain mixture through jelly bag.
Return liquid to kettle; bring to a rolling boil.
Boil for 5 minutes or until jelly sheets from spoon.
Pour into hot sterilized jars; seal with paraffin.
