Strawberries In Spiced Grape Jelly
|Red grape juice||3⁄4 Milliliter (450 Milliliter / 17/8 Cup)|
|Gelatine||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon / 1 Envelope)|
|Strawberries||8 Ounce, chopped (225 Gram)|
|Strawberries||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (To Decorate)|
|Orange rind||2 Teaspoon (To Decorate)|
1. Place the grape juice in a pan with the cinnamon. Thinly pare the rind from the orange and add to the pan. Infuse over a very low heat for 10 minutes, then remove the flavourings.
2. Squeeze the juice from the orange and sprinkle over the gelatine. Stir into the grape juice to dissolve. Allow to cool until just beginning to set.
3. Stir in the strawberries and quickly tip into a 1 litre / 1 3/4 pint / 4 cup mould or serving dish. Chill until set.
4. To turn out, dip the mould quickly into hot water and invert on to a serving plate. Decorate with fresh strawberries and shreds of orange rind.
