Blackberry And Apple Jelly

Ingredients
  Blackberries 4 Pound
  Cooking apples 4 Pound
  Water 2 Pint
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Rinse the fruit.
Cut up the apples without peeling or coring.Simmer the blackberries and apples separately with the water for about 1 hr., until the fruits are tender.
Mash well and allow to drip through a jelly bag.
Measure the juice.
Bring to the boil, then stir in the sugar (usually 1 lb. to each 1 pt of juice).
Boil briskly till set.
