Tropical Fruit Jelly
|Fruit cocktail juice||300 Milliliter|
|Bananas||2 , peeled, quartered,|
|Pears||2 , cored and sliced|
|Gelatin||1 Tablespoon (1 Envelope)|
|Canned guavas in syrup||14 Ounce (One 398 Milliliter Can)|
1. Place 4 tablespoons of the fruit cocktail juice in a small pan, sprinkle over the gelatine and leave to soak for 5 minutes. Heat gently until dissolved, then mix with the remaining juice in a bowl.
2. Drain the guavas and add the syrup to the bowl. Slice the guavas and add to the bowl with the bananas and pears.
3. Pour into 4 or 6 individual moulds, depending on their size; alternatively pour into a 900 ml (32/3 cup) mould. Chill for 2 hours, to set.
