Quick Sweet Almond Jelly
|Agar agar||1⁄4 Ounce|
|Water||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Almond extract||1 Tablespoon|
Quickly rinse agar agar.
Place in a large bowl with 3 cups water.
Let soak 30 minutes.
Drain well, discarding water.
Place drained agar agar in a medium saucepan.
Add remaining 3 cups water.
Stir constantly over medium heat until agar agar dissolves.
Add sugar, milk and almond extract; mix well.
Pour into 6 individual dishes.
Refrigerate about 1 hour until firm.
Garnish with maraschino cherry halves.
