Ingredients
  Shrimp 1 Pound, peeled and deveined
  Stir fry vegetables 10 Ounce (1 Package)
  Sushi ginger 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Duck sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
Directions

1)In a wok, heat the oil, stir the shrimps over a medium-high heat for a few minutes.
2) Stir in the stir fry vegetables and cook for a few minutes, add the shushi ginger, mix well.
3) Pour in the soy sauce and duck sauce, with the cornstarch, then stir well to coat the vegetables and shrimp.
4) Stir in some cooked ramen noodles or rice and serve.

lovely recipe!! I crave a nice homemade dish with Chinese flavors to it from time to time and shrimp is one of the best things to have apart from fish... but what is sushi ginger?? it is different from regular ginger cuz the color of it seemed orange-ish...?

Sushi Ginger is basically pickled ginger. Wikipedia defines it as "sweet, thinly sliced young ginger that has been marinated in a solution of sugar and vinegar." It has a bit of a bite to it, but is really good and goes well with the Shrimp in this stir-fry. If you ever eat sushi, then it is the orange/ pink colored stuff that comes on the side. You can get it at World Market; I am not sure where else you can get it; you can look for it either on the Asian/ Ethnic food aisle or with the sushi in your grocery store. You should also know that I was not 100% satisfied with the Duck Sauce as it did not seem to add much flavor, and I am planning on trying this one with a soy-lime sauce next time... basically just mixing together lime and soy. I am not sure that you could consider this a traditional Chinese flavor combo, but citrus and shrimp do go great together, and I am sure the lime will compliment the sushi ginger nicely.

Thanks for the prompt reply... even i was wondering about the duck sauce.. though I have the recipe, I'm a bit lazy with sauce making ;) the soy-lime combo seems and sounds great though... I'm looking forward to this now..thanks again!

lovely recipe !! Can you please tell what a duck sauce is? I never heard of this kind of sauce :)
