Teriyaki Rock Cornish Game Hen
|Rock cornish hens||3 , thawed|
|Soy sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Orange juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sake/Sherry / any kind of white wine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Japanese Rice Spirit)|
|Grated ginger||2 Tablespoon|
Combine all ingredients except hens.
Stir well until all sugar is dissolved.
Remove giblets from hens and split hens into two halves.
Marinate hen halves in the sauce 4-6 hrs.
Arrange the marinated hen halves skin side down on preheated broiler about 5 in.
from source of heat or on broilerpan rack in the hottest oven (over 500 degrees).
Broil about 15 min.
Turn and broil skin side up another 15 min.
