Korean Miso Soup

Ingredients
  Miso paste 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cold water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Tofu 1⁄2
  Green onion 1
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

- Put miso paste in the cold water and mix well. Bring it to a boil and stir.
- Cut Tofu into bite size pieces.
- Put Tofu into miso soup and boil for another minute.
- Add salt to taste.
- Garnish with chopped green onions!
- Serve as an appetizer or with steamed rice to make it a more filling dish!

Miso soup is very inexpensive to make!

Can anyone plz tell me what miso paste contains?? I'm a bit confused... What are the basic and original ingredients?? is it all veg or what?
