Tempura Cornstarch Batter

Ingredients
  Cornstarch 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cold water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vegetable oil   (or peanut oil, for frying)
Directions

Blend ingredients together, but do not overmix.
Dip fresh vegetables or seafood into batter, then fry in hot peanut or vegetable oil.
The foods you are frying should be cut into bite-size pieces.
You may use a frying pan or a wok.
