This is another wonderful easy to make at home recipe from Cooking with Dog
  Onion 1⁄2
  Thinly sliced beef 200 Gram
  Ginger 5 Gram
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Sake 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Hon mirin 1 Tablespoon
  Water 100 Milliliter
  Granulated dashi 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2
  Beni shoga 1 Tablespoon
  Shichimi To Taste
  Scallions 1 Pound
  Steamed rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Gyūdon, often literally translated into English as beef bowl, is a Japanese dish consisting of a bowl of rice topped with beef and onion simmered in a mildly sweet sauce flavored with soy sauce and mirin. It also often includes shirataki. A very popular food in Japan. I love it!

Yours is by far the Best ... yes onsen tamago is a must and help absorb the moist of the sauce not to make the rice flooded with liquid !!
