Japanese Baked Cheesecake

ochikeron's picture
This tutorial will show you how to make EASY Japanese Baked Cheesecake since I received a lot of request for it. Like New York Cheesecake, people call it "Japanese" Cheesecake!? I hope you love it!!! I made the crust with vanilla wafers (not the biscuits). It tastes very crispy and delicious, so try it out!!! My darling is not a sweets person but he loved it! Also, my mom said it was really good
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Smash vanilla wafers in a Ziploc bag, add butter (softened), and mix well. Press firmly into the brownie pan. Chill until set.
2) Preheat the oven to 180C (350F).

MAKING
3) Line the brownie pan with waxed paper or parchment paper.
4) Beat cream cheese with wire whisk. Add sugar, beaten eggs (little by little), fresh cream, lemon juice, flour (sift in), and melted butter, and mix until smooth.
5) Pour the cream cheese mixture into the brownie pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
6) Allow to cool to the room temperature and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

SERVING
7) Cut into bars and serve.

TIPS
The best way to cut a cheesecake is to use a long knife that has been warmed in hot water. Dip the knife in hot water, wipe, and cut. Repeat this each time you cut!

What is the size of your brownie pan? I used the smallest one we have and i used over double the ingredients but it turned out really good.

Most are baked in 13x9x2-inch pans. Baking them in a 9x9x2-inch pan will give you thicker brownies. A 13x13 pan is too big, and your brownies will be very thin, more like cookies
