1. Peel the diakon and grate it very finely almost to a paste. Transfer it on a paper towel or thin cloth and squeeze out the liquid from it. Make small balls or rolls and set aside.
2. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat. Place the pork strips carefully and let it cook till crisp. Transfer onto a paper towel to drain off the rendered fat.
3. In a serving plate place the diakon ball and one crisp strip of pork over it. Garnish it with green onion and drizzle soy sauce over it and serve.
If using a normal pan, add some oil while heating to cook the pork strips.
