Ingredients
  Renkon 1 (Lotus Or Lily Root, 10 Inch)
  Vinegar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sliced abalone 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Thinly sliced carrots 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Toasted sesame seeds 1 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Skin renkon and slice thinly crosswise.

MAKING
2) In a saucepan pour vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and monosodium glutamate.
3) Stir and let boil.
4) Mix renkon and cook 4 to 5 minutes.
5) Take off from heat.
6) Stir in abalone and carrots gently.
7) Sprinkle sesame seeds over it.

SERVING
8) Chill and serve.
