Vegetable Mochi Fry

Ingredients
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Shoyu 2 Tablespoon
  Hondashi 5 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)
  String beans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), julienned and soaked in water to soften
  Carrot strips 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), julienned and soaked in water to soften
  Shiitake 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), julienned and soaked in water to soften
  Bacon 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Mochi squares 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cook vegetables in sugar, shoyu, hondashi and shiitake water until carrots are no longer crunchy but not falling apart.
Cut mochi squares into thirds.
To each piece of mochi add one each vegetable and roll with 1/2 strip of bacon.
Fasten with toothpick, roll in cornstarch and fry in about 1/2 inch of hot oil.
