Shrimp Vegetable Tempura
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cornstarch||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Mixture of evaporated milk and water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Fresh shrimp||1⁄2 Pound, chopped|
|Carrots||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), cut in fine julienne strips|
|Beans||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), cut in fine julienne strips|
|Parsley||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), cut in fine julienne strips|
Mix flour, cornstarch, sugar, salt and baking powder and add milk slowly, to prevent lumps.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well to coat completely.
Drop by tablespoons into hot oil and cook until slightly brown.
