Pineapple Teriyaki Burgers
|Lean ground chicken||1 Pound|
|Bottled teriyaki sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Prepared mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Fresh pineapple slices/4 canned pineapple slices||4 (1/4-Inch Thick)|
|Sesame seed hamburger buns||4|
|Nonfat cooking spray||1|
1 Lightly coat the grill with cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes.
2 In abowl, combine the chicken, egg white, teriyaki sauce, onion, pepper and mustard.
3 Mix well and shape into 4 patties.
4 Place the patties on the grill and cook for 3 minutes.
5 Place one slice of pineapple on each patty.
6 Grill for another 4-5 minutes or as per your prefearnce.
7 Serve on sesame seed burger buns or over steamed brown rice.
