Teriyaki Steak

Ingredients
  Beef chuck/Sirloin steak 2 1⁄2 Pound
  Ginger 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Salad oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sherry 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
Directions

MAKING
1 Slice meat diagonally into 1/8-inch-thick strips.
2 Meat will slice easier if placed in the freezer for 30 minutes.
3 In a 2-cup glass measure, combine ginger, sugar, oil, soy sauce, sherry, and garlic.Stir to blend.
4 Pour over meat strips and marinate from 1 hour to overnight.
5 Preheat browning dish 5 minutes.
6 Reserving marinade, remove meat from marinade and add to hot dish.
7 Fry for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring after every minute.
8 Pour marinade over meat and cook for 4 to 5 minutes more, stirring after every minute.

SERVING
9 Serve hot over fluffy rice.
