Stir Fry Steak Teriyaki

  Round steak 1⁄4 Pound
  Light soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 2 Teaspoon
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), thinly sliced
  Mushrooms 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
  Green pepper 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Oil 1 Tablespoon

Cut steak into 1/8-inch strips (cuts best when meat is partially frozen).
Make a marinade of soy sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar and cornstarch.
Add meat to marinade and let stand 15-20 minutes, or longer.
In a 9-inch pie plate combine oil, garlic and onion.
Micro wave on HIGH (100 percent power) for 2 minutes.
Move onions to center of pie plate.
Remove meat from marinade (save marinade).
Arrange meat around onions.
Cover tightly; microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes.
Stir meat and onions together.
Add mushrooms, green peppers, 1/4 teaspoon ginger and marinade sauce and stir.
Cover tightly; microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes, stirring once.
Serve over rice.
