Flank Steak Teriyaki Barbecue
|Cooking oil||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cider vinegar||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced or mashed|
|Ground ginger||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Flank steak||2 Pound (Not Scored)|
Combine oil, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, onion, garlic, and ginger.
Pour over steak and allow to marinate for 4 hours or more; turn occasionally.
Barbecue steak over hot coals heated to turn gray, turning once, until done to your preference (about 5 minutes each side for medium rare).
Baste occasionally with marinade.
Carve into thin slices, cutting on the diagonal from top to bottom of steak (as for London Broil).
