This appetizer from American cuisine can be prepared by frying.
All purpose flour
3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
1 Cup (16 tbs)
1 Tablespoon (Tony Chacher'S Original)
8 Ounce (Citterio)
12 Large, peeled and de veined
1 Medium, sliced and pickled
Begin heating the vegetable oil to
between 350 and 375 degrees in a cast
iron skillet. Lay the prosciutto on a flat
surface. On top, add a slice of avocado,
a shrimp and a few slices of the pickled
red onion. Roll everything together in the
prosciutto and dip into your tempura batter.
Once the wrap is coated, drop it into the oil
and cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side
until it reaches a nice golden color. Hit it
with a little lime juice and serve hot.
